I am very excited about our Worship night and live album recording coming up on March 16th 2012! I know it will be a powerful time in the God's presence! We are planning it for a Friday night in hopes of rallying other youth ministries in Houston to come worship together with us. Our TAKEOVER Band members have been practicing and looking forward to this day for a very long time! I might actually be more excited than them though! Please spread the word and let others know the event is free! Come hang out with us March 16th at 7pm!
Dear Sirs,
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see someone else who loves working with you and encouraging them as much as I do. Despite my handicaps, the Lord has been able to use me for a lot.
I am writing to numerous inner city ministries and the like in the U.S. to tell you of a couple books – one free as a blog - which will greatly encourage the youth of your area. As our families have troubles, it’ll help them to live Godly lives within them so God can use them to help their community and world, through their prayers, words, and actions.
I have blogged a free book at takethespirituallead (dot) blogspot (dot) com which they will love, too. It’s not just inner city youth who need this help; it’s every young person nowadays.
My book, “Discovering Grace,” is available at the Nook store for just $0.99, and on lulu (dot) com also. (I’m removing links to make sure this gets through) You can find my book as a paperback at lulu (dot) com, too, but I figure young people would enjoy this. A sequel is planned focusing on the boys more fbut boys will enjoy this just as much as the girls as they are encouraged to stand up for God and have the purpose which so many lack nowadays, one which will pay off. The link for my book as an eBook is www (dot) lulu (dot) com/shop/doug-fowler/discovering-grace-following-god-through-turmoil/ebook/product-20073603.html
“Take the Spiritual lead” is free, of course as a blog. In fact, if you know of underprivileged children who can’t afford it, I’ll send a read-only one for your library which they can read through Adobe Digital Editions. Although a dollar is pretty good as a bargain. (the iBookstore also has it as that; I don’t know if that’s the same thing or not.) And “Take the Spiritual Lead” should encourage them more since it’ll show how to get things done, though kids love fictional stories they can relate to, too.
Here is a summary. Happy reading to all your youth! And, feel free to buy print versions, too, at lulu, or click on “Author spotlight” once you’re viewing “Discovering Grace” to see my other books.
